MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The CU men's basketball team earned a hard-fought Conference Carolinas win against UNC Pembroke on Wednesday night at Bob Burke Court, marking the first time the Hawks have defeated UNC Pembroke at home.

Daylan Askew led the Hawks with 22 points, six rebounds, three assists, and a steal. Aaron Ross delivered 18 points in the win. RJ Wilson added 11 points, five assists, and a steal.
