WILSON, N.C. – The Chowan Baseball team did not make it easy for Barton in the final games of the regular season on Saturday afternoon in Conference Carolinas action.

Ryan Bellamy led the Hawks with four hits on the day and a RBI. Ethan Robinson would go 3-5 at the plate with a RBI in the nightcap.
Geomar Santana would pick up three hits and a RBI. Patrick Krack tallied three hits with a double and two RBI.
Dawerlyn Amancio and Elvis Rumaldo picked up two hits each. Amancio notched a double while Rumaldo added a triple.
Ty Johnson, Ethan Whelan, and Tyler West collected one hit each. Johnson added a walk and a RBI.
Chowan would open the final contest with a 5-0 lead in the fourth inning before the Bulldogs chipped away at the deficit to take a 9-5 lead in the seventh. The Hawks would collect a run in the top of the ninth.
