DUE WEST, S.C. – The Chowan Softball team came up short in a pair of contests against Erskine in Conference Carolinas action on Friday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORES

Kyra Helton, Ava Mizell and Haleigh Reid notched two hits each as Helton added a double and stolen base, while Mizell added a stolen base and Reid collected a double.

Emily Fowler slugged her first collegiate home run in the night cap with a two-run home run.  Lenita Bryson collected a two-run double, while Elizabeth Ingle, Calliope James, and Megan Leon posted one hit each.  Leon tallied a stolen base and Mckenzie Misenheimer tallied two stolen bases.

UP NEXT

Chowan wraps up the regular season on Saturday, April 20 on the road against King.  First pitch is slated for 1pm.
