MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Lacrosse team started off strong in the regular season finale against Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas action on Friday, but was unable to maintain the attack.

Eric George finished with four goals and one assist. Erik Dozzi posted two goals and three assists.
Seth Mackenzie collected two goals, while Jacob Malia added one goal and one assist. Rylan Downey and Carson Moore found the back of the net once.
Gavin Koors tallied 15 saves in goal.
Chowan trailed 4-3 at the end of the first quarter, Belmont Abbey rallied to outscore the Hawks 12-3 in the second and third quarters.
