MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Baseball team was unable to weather the fourth inning storm from King in the Conference Carolinas series finale on Sunday afternoon.

Caleb Karie and Ryan Bellamy led the hitting barrage with three hits each. Elvis Rumaldo, Ty Johnson, and Tyler West tallied two hits apiece. West led the team with four RBI along with Dawerlyn Amancio with four RBI, both with home runs.
Rowan Hudson tallied a hit with two RBI, while Geomar Santana picked up a hit with three walks and a stolen base.
King registered 11 runs in the fourth inning after Chowan led 6-4.
