MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse was unable to sustain the momentum in their Conference Carolinas loss to Young Harris at home on Saturday.

Charity Brown led the Hawks with three points notching two goals and one assist. Victoria Brown added two goals.
Cameryn Barrow, Grace Taylor, Blake Tutman, and Sarai Sanders added one goal each. Sanders' goal was woman-down.
Blake Tutman and Gracie Timken collected six draw controls, while MarDawn Rawls and Kashara Simpson forced three caused turnovers each.
Patricia Meador notched 10 saves in relief between the pipes.
Chowan closed the gap to 12-8 late in the third quarter before the Hawks saw four yellow cards handed down in the fourth quarter leading to five woman-up goals for the Mountain Lions.
