BANNER ELK, N.C. – Seven different Hawks scored for the Chowan Women's Lacrosse team in a big win over Lees-McRae in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday on the road.

Chowan notched their sixth win of the season, most since the 2018 season.
The Hawks went on a 9-1 goal run in the last 17 minutes of the first half to lead 14-6.
Grace Taylor posted a team-high 10 points with eight goals and two assists on eight shots. Charity Brown broke her own single-game record with six assists to go with one goal.
Victoria Brown and Gracie Timken notched a hat-trick. Brown added one assist. Cameryn Barrow and Sarai Sanders posted two goals each. Barrow added two assists, while Natalie Savage collected one goal.
Blake Tutman collected five draw controls. Patricia Meador tallied eight saves, while Ariel Johnson posted two saves.
