BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Lacrosse picked up their first league win of the season on a record-breaking day for two Hawks in a big win over Lees-McRae on Saturday.

Erik Dozzi notched a team-high 11 points with four goals and seven assists. His first assist of the contest notched his 100th career assist, the first Hawk to achieve the mark.
Eric George added 10 points with six goals and four assists. George's first point moved him to the top of the all-time points lead for the program along with his fourth goal of the contest making him the all-time goal scorer in program history. George passed Jaxon Martin (2019-23) in both categories.
Jacob Malia tallied five goals and one assist. Michael Litchfield, Rylan Downey, and Carson Moore added one goal. Seth Mackenzie added one assist.
Chowan outscored the Bobcats 10-4 in the second half after leading 8-3 at the intermission.

Chowan hosts Mount Olive on Wednesday, April 3 in Conference Carolinas action. The contest will serve as Senior Day for the Hawks. Festivities will start at 2:45pm.
