WILSON, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Lacrosse team put themselves in an early hole and couldn't climb out as Barton handed the Hawks a Conference Carolinas loss on Saturday.

Erik Dozzi posted 10 points with a hat-trick and seven assists to go with five ground balls.  Eric George led the Hawks with five goals and added an assist.

Jacob Malia and Seth Mackenzie added two goals each.

Chowan was 8-38 from the face-off spot.  Barton jumped out to a 7-1 lead before leading 13-5 at the intermission.  The Bulldogs tacked on seven more in the third.
