MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse team suffered their first loss of the season in a competitive contest against Bridgeport on Wednesday afternoon at home.

Victoria Brown led the Hawks with three goals and one assist.  Grace Taylor collected three goals.

Charity Brown picked up one goal and one assist, while Blake Tutman, Natalie Savage, and Sarai Sanders found the back of the net once.

Bridgeport used a strong second quarter with eight goals to pull away.
