MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse team remained unbeaten as the Hawks held off Virginia State at home in non-conference action on Saturday.

Grace Taylor led the Hawks with six goals.  Victoria Brown collected four goals.

Blake Tutman posted one goal and two assists to go along with nine draw controls and five caused turnovers.

Charity Brown added one goal and two assists, while Sarai Sanders posted one goal.

Ariel Johnson moved to 3-0 in goal this season with nine saves.

Chowan will look to continue their momentum on Wednesday, February 28 as the Hawks host Bridgeport.  Opening draw control is slated for 1pm.
