MURFREESBORO, N.C. –In day 2 of the Clayton State Conference Challenges, the Chowan University Hawks emerged victorious over Tusculum on November 9, 2024, at The Loch in Morrow, GA. The final whistle marked the scoreboard at 86-82, tipping the scales in favor of the Hawks, who now boast a record of 2-0 this season.

The Hawks, led by standout performances from Daylan Askew and Damerius Summers. Askew, notching a game-high 21 points, alongside Summers' tallied 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists, spearheaded the dynamic comeback.

Aaron Ross and Cheick Traore, added 10 and 8 points respectively, along with significant rebounds. The defense was on point as well, with key steals from Dominique Bailey, Joe Lazeau II, and Martinie Kamga.
