Desiree Askew led the Hawks offensively with a career-high 21 points, surpassing her previous best of 12. Askew also added 11 rebounds, and 3 assists, shooting 8-15 from the field and adding 5-6 from the free-throw line. Kaleah Boykin scored 14 points, shooting a solid 7-of-8 from the field.Â
In tonight's match, the Hawks tied the second-most points in program history, matching their 103-point performance on November 26th, 2016, against St. Augustine's. Thirteen different Hawks scored in tonight's game. Chowan took full advantage of defensive stops, converting turnovers into 43 points. The Hawks dominated the boards, securing 71 rebounds to the Royals' 22.
