MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The Chowan University volleyball team fell to 2-10 overall and 0-5 in Conference Carolinas play after a tough battle, losing in 5 sets to Young Harris College on Friday afternoon. The Mountain Lions improved to 2-6 overall and 2-3 in league play following the match.

Alexa Wasil led the team with 25 kills, following right behind with 12 kills was Anna Holcombe, and Alyssa Thompson with 10. Holcombe and Wasil had a good serving day as they both finished with 3 aces. Rosa Lynn Collier spent some time at the net for the Hawks tallying up 5 blocks. Sydney Ginaitt contributed 24 assists, while Alexandra Liggeri added 12. Diana Rodriguez led the defense with 51 digs, while Jadyn Brown and Wasil each contributed 12.
