MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Basketball team cruised to a Conference Carolinas East Division win over rival Mount Olive on Wednesday evening behind a season-high 92 points.

Sydney Roberts posted a career-high 21 points collecting 12 points from the charity stripe.
Tynasia Bunting scored 15 of her 22 points in the first quarter. Bunting stuffed the stat sheet with six assists, five steals, and two blocks.
Kaleah Boykin (13) and Imani Hickman (12) scored in double-figures. 10 Hawks scored at least one basket in the contest. Boykin added five rebounds, three assists, and four steals.
Chowan forced 29 turnovers with 19 steals leading to 37 points.
The Hawks jumped out to an early advantage 34-20 at the end of the first quarter.
Chowan handed Mount Olive their seventh straight loss.
