Chowan Falls Against Crusaders In Home Finale

MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse team wrapped up their home season against Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

Victoria Brown, Trinity Walker, and Grace Taylor collected one goal each.  Brown and Taylor notched an assist apiece.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Victoria Brown found the back of the net off an assist from Grace Taylor to put the Hawks on the board.  Trinity Walker scored off an assist from Brown to cut the deficit to 11-2.

Belmont Abbey pushed their advantage to 19-2 before Grace Taylor scored for the final tally for the Hawks.

The Crusaders would score seven goals to conclude the scoring.

UP NEXT

Chowan finishes the 2023 season on the road against Barton on Friday, April 21 in Wilson, N.C.  Opening draw control is slated for 4pm.
