Chowan Falls To Barton In Season Finale

WILSON, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse team concluded their season on the road against Barton on Friday afternoon in Conference Carolinas action.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

Victoria Brown led the team with a hat-trick and three draw controls.  Rebekah Lucas and Grace Taylor collected one goal each.  Gracie Timken tallied one assist.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Rebekah Lucas put the Hawks on the board early with an unassisted goal.  Victoria Brown posted an unassisted goal to even the score at 2-all.

Barton posted three straight goals before Grace Taylor collected a goal to trail 6-3 at the half.

Victoria Brown posted a pair of goals in the third quarter including a woman-up goal off the assist by Gracie Timken to close the gap to 8-5.

Barton scored the final 14 goals of the contest to take the victory.
