GREENVILLE, S.C. – Destiny Robinson continues to add to her impressive resume after being named Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference Carolinas announced by the league on Thursday morning.
The Hampton, Va. native led the Conference Carolinas in blocks (66) and rebounds (251), second in rebounds per game (9.3), and fourth in scoring (14.4).
This season, Destiny Robinson achieved 1,000 career points while breaking the Chowan Division II record in rebounds and double-doubles. Robinson is the first league Player of the Year since 2003-04 (CC Vaughan, USA South). The graduate student is also the first to grab a First Team All-Conference selection in the Conference Carolinas since moving over to the league in 2019-20.
