MURFREESBORO, N.C. - Grace Taylor scored nine goals as the Chowan Women's Lacrosse team lost a one-goal contest to Tiffin at home on Tuesday, 13-12.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter:
Cameryn Barrow started off the scoring with a free position goal. Trinity Walker put the Hawks up 2-0 off an assist by Victoria Brown.
Tiffin would answer with a pair of goals before Grace Taylor found the back of the net to lead 3-2.
Chowan would allow three goals in the final four minutes to trail 5-3.
Second Quarter:
Grace Taylor scored a woman-down goal to cut the deficit to 5-4. Tiffin extended their lead to 7-4 before Taylor scored a free position goal to cut into the deficit before the half.
Third Quarter:
Tiffin would push their advantage to 9-5 before Grace Taylor collected a goal off the assist by Trinity Walker.
Rebekah Lucas would find the back of the net on an unassisted goal. Grace Taylor scored unassisted to cut the deficit to 10-8 before the end of the frame.
Fourth Quarter:
Grace Taylor continued her scoring with an unassisted tally to cut the deficit to 11-9. After a Dragon goal, Taylor scored off Naila Smith's assist following a foul in the eight-meter area. Taylor scored in front of the crease to trim the deficit to 12-11 with 4:52 remaining.
Tiffin added a goal before Grace Taylor closed the gap to 13-12 with 1:30 remaining.
