GREENVILLE, S.C. – For the fifth time this season, Destiny Robinson secured the Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week selection announced by the Conference Carolinas on Monday afternoon.

Destiny Robinson averaged 17.0 points, 14.0 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks per game in a 1-1 week for the Hawks.  The graduate student started the week off with a double-double against Mount Olive with 23 points and 14 rebounds while shooting 50% (7-14) from the floor and 9-10 from the free throw line to give the Hawks a 75-64 victory.

The Hampton, Va. native finished off the week with another double-double posting 11 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks in a 77-68 double overtime loss to #22 Belmont Abbey.  Robinson sent the game into overtime with a tip-in as time expired in regulation.
