MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Basketball team started off the contest on fire on their way to a 65-47 Conference Carolinas victory over regionally-ranked North Greenville on Wednesday afternoon.

Tynasia Bunting paced the offense with a career-high 27 points, seven rebounds, and six steals. Kaleah Boykin added 10 points and six rebounds.
Imani Hickman hauled in 15 rebounds to go with five points. Sydney Roberts collected seven points, five steals, and four assists.
Chowan shot 52.6% in the first quarter to jump out to a 23-5 lead. The Hawks held North Greenville to single-digit quarter totals.
