MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The Chowan Volleyball team fizzled after the opening set in a straight sets loss to Mount Olive in Conference Carolinas action on Tuesday evening.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

Gigi Ratajesak collected a team-high eight kills.  Ryan Nored posted seven kills.  Diana Rodriguez and Ellie Middleton tallied 12 digs each.

Chowan competed in the first set with 15 kills and three aces before falling 28-26.

Mount Olive dominated the second set hitting .519 with four aces.
