MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Throughout the 2023-2024 Chowan Athletic season, the Chowan Athletic Department will feature the Student-Athletes of the Week.

For the week of October 2 – October 8, Andrew Garrison of Men's Cross Country and Fiedi Abreu Rodriguez of Women's Cross Country for their efforts on their respective teams during the week.

Andrew Garrison | Sophomore | Men's Cross Country | Franklin, N.C.

Andrew paced the Hawks with a third-place finish at the Ben Snelling Cancer Classic.  Garrison's run helped the Hawks take home the team title with a time of 33:38.2 in the 8K.

Feidi Abreu Rodriguez | Junior | Women's Cross Country | Santo Domingo, D.R.

Feidi picked up the win at the Ben Snelling Cancer Classic with a first-place finish with a time of 27:46.3.  Abreu Rodriguez helped guide the Hawks to a team title in the event.
