CHESAPEAKE, VA. – The Chowan Men's Cross Country team opened their season at the Blue Marlin Invite hosted by Virginia Wesleyan at Bells Mill Park on Saturday morning.

INSIDE THE RESULTS

Ke'Shawn Taylor led the Hawks with a 20th place finish trekking the 5K course in 22:47.1.

Kani Ellis (23rd) and Christopher Breeden (24th) posted times of 24:09.5 and 24:21.2 respectively.

Enrico Carrsquillo posted a time of 27:46.0, while Khiyell Jenkins rounded out the team with a time of 31:53.0.
