MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Following week seven of competition, Conference Carolinas announced its Men's and Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week on Monday afternoon. Chowan's Zoe Schneider and Julius Riley earned honors for her standout performance's in last week's race against Elizabeth City State University. 

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Zoe Schneider | Freshman | Macon County, North Carolina
In the final race before the Conference Carolinas Cross Country Championship, Schneider claimed first place in a dual meet against Elizabeth City State, posting a personal-best time of 26:50.15.
 

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Julius Riley | Junior | Fayetteville, North Carolina
In the final race before the Conference Carolinas Cross Country Championship, Riley secured first place in a dual meet against Elizabeth City State, recording a personal-best time of 24:25.12 and helping lead his team to a first-place finish.
