PETERSBURG, VA. – The Chowan Men's and Women's Cross Country team competed at the VSU Trojan Invite on Friday afternoon notching six personal best times on the course.

INSIDE THE RESULTS

Andrew Garrison led the Hawks with a top-10 finish posting a time of 29:49.79 in the 8K for the men.  Enrico Carrsquillo notched a personal best time of 34:30.36 as Kani Ellis added a personal best time of 35:44.4.  Christopher Breeden also added a personal best time of 36:04.4.

Paige Wilhelm paced the women finishing the 5K course in 29:33.17.  Charity Brown posted a personal best time of 29:52.03 to finish second for the Hawks.  JaCinda Griffin (37:00.89), Ishcah Browne (40:59.14), and Patricia Meador (50:30.78) finished the scoring for the Hawks.

Chowan will have a couple weeks off before they compete in the Virginia Union Invite on October 14.
