TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Chowan Women's Soccer team was shutout against North Greenville in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon on the road.

Chowan registered nine shots in the contest with four on target. Allison Traub stopped seven shots in the contest.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Chowan was called for a foul just at the top of the six-yard box as Allison Traub picked up a pass that was played back resulting in the miscue. NGU would score on the in-direct free kick from close range to take a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute.
Regan Jackson recorded the first shot attempt for the Hawks in the 38' as her attempt was saved.
Second Half:
Lillian DeLucca posted a shot on frame in the 55' as Cristina Flores and Elena Butcher followed suit before their attempts were turned away.
The Crusaders finished off the contest with a goal in the 86' for the 2-0 victory.
