TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Chowan Men's Soccer team was unable to thwart off the second half attack by the Crusaders on the road in Conference Carolinas play on Saturday afternoon as North Greenville handed the Hawks their first league loss.

Chowan posted 11 shots in the contest with three being on target. NGU had seven shots with three being on target and two finding the back of the net.
James Randall tallied two shots on frame. The Chowan defense held the Crusaders scoreless for 77 minutes.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Chowan went on the attack as a pair of shots by Leke Ademola and Tren Drexhage would sail wide. James Randall tallied the first shot on frame in the 40' but was turned away.
North Greenville did not record a shot on goal in the opening half.
Second Half:
Charlie Farrar was forced to make a save in the 58' before James Randall and Bradley Binns posted a pair of shots that required a save by the Crusader keeper.
NGU broke through the scoreless bout in the 78' and tacked on an insurance goal in the 82'.
Wesley Illes and Leke Ademola sent shots towards goal but sailed wide.
