The Chowan Volleyball team enters the weekend with a 3-5 overall record.  The Hawks will take on North Greenville to start Conference Carolinas play on Friday evening.  Chowan will then head to Belmont, N.C. to take on Belmont Abbey in league action before facing Wingate in a non-conference match.

The Chowan Women's Soccer team enters the contest against North Greenville on Saturday with a 1-4-1 overall record and a 1-0-1 record in league play.  The Hawks are coming off a tough 1-0 loss to #9 Catawba during the week.  North Greenville is 2-2-1 on the season and 2-0-0 in league play.

The Chowan Football team will look to open up CIAA play on a strong note after falling to 0-2 on the season after a 23-21 loss to Tusculum last weekend.  The Hawks are 3-1 against Johnson C. Smith since 2008 and have won the last three meetings.  The Chowan defense will look to continue their trend of holding opponents under 25 points per game.  CIAA Linebacker of the Week, Montre Moore, anchors the defense after a 16 tackle outing last week.

In Chowan Tennis action, the Hawks will travel to Christopher Newport to compete in a Fall session as the Blue and White will compete against Sweet Briar, Christopher Newport, N.C. Wesleyan, Hampton, and Longwood over Saturday and Sunday.
