SALISBURY, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Soccer team stood tall against nationally-ranked Catawba on the road in a non-conference loss on Wednesday afternoon.

Chowan did not record a shot in the contest, while Catawba posted 27 shots in the contest with 10 shots on frame.
Allison Traub recorded seven saves in the contest. The Chowan defense made two defensive saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Second Half:
The Hawks defense kept Catawba off the board until the 65' as the initial shot off the post would find the foot of a Catawba attacker for the tap-in goal.
Chowan recorded a corner kick in the 90' for their only offensive statistic.
