MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Soccer team battled back to draw against Coker in non-conference action at home on Wednesday afternoon.

Chowan saw the new NCAA rule in effect in this contest as overtime does not go into effect during regular season contests.
The Hawks improve to 10-0-3 at home since their last home loss on November 15, 2019 (Limestone, 2-1 OT).
Tren Drexhage netted his fourth goal of the season to preserve the unbeaten streak. Harri Lovett delivered the assist.
Charlie Farrar collected eight saves in the contest.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Coker would strike first after connecting on their first shot attempt as a corner kick found an unmarked Cobra on the far post for the 1-0 advantage.
James Randall and Leke Ademola nearly made it even as both of their attempts were turned away.
Charlie Farrar was forced to make five saves before Ausar Omwenga sent a shot from the top of the box towards goal.
The Hawks would go into the half trailing 1-0.
Second Half:
Alejandro Abreu Cruz nearly found his first goal of the season in the 55' as his attempt would bounce off the crossbar.
The Cobras sent three shots towards cage for Charlie Farrar to save. After a foul in the 78', Harri Lovett would send the free kick into the box finding Tren Drexhage. Drexhage would settle and find the near post for the equalizer.
James Randall nearly found the go-ahead goal in the 89' as his headed attempt was snatched out of the air by the Coker keeper.
