WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Chowan Men's and Women's Cross Country team competed at the Wilmington Beach Blast Nighttime Cross Country meet on Friday evening.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
For the men, all five runners posted career-best times on the 5K course. Ke'Shawn Taylor led the Hawks with a time of 22:15.66. Kani Ellis trekked the course in 22:24.23. Christopher Breeden (23:04.88), Enrico Carrsquillo (24:52.00) and Khiyell Jenkins (27:19.00) rounded out the scoring for the Hawks.
Paige Wilhelm paced the Hawks on the course, but the timing company failed to record her time. Charity Brown finished second for the Hawks with a time of 33:45.00. JaCinda Griffin, Ishcah Browne, and Patricia Meador finished behind Brown to conclude the scoring for the Hawks.
