Dennis Bates recorded a shot in the 18' from the top of the box that bounced off the right post.

Lander took a 1-0 lead in the 21' as the Bearcats found the lower left corner of the net.  The Bearcats nearly made it 2-0 in the 27' but Charlie Farrar was able to corral the close range attempt.

Charlie Farrar was forced to make a save in the 43' to keep the score at 1-0 in favor of Lander before half.

Second Half:

In the 70' the Hawks had a free kick from the right side of the box but was unable to sneak one past the Bearcat keeper.

Tren Drexhage would find the equalizer in the 81' fighting off several Bearcats at the top of the box to find the lower corner to even the score at 1-all.
