BELMONT, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse team wrapped up the season against Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon.

Charity Brown, Victoria Brown, Leia Cabradillia, and Cameryn Barrow tallied one goal each. Grace Taylor contributed an assist.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Charity Brown put the Hawks on the board first with an unassisted goal just 33 seconds into the match.
Belmont Abbey responded with six unanswered goals to lead 6-1 before Leia Cabradillia scored to slow the run.
The Crusaders added four more goals to lead 10-2 to end the first quarter before adding four goals in the second to lead 14-2 at the intermission.
Belmont Abbey increased their lead to 17-2 before Victoria Brown scored a woman-up goal. Grace Taylor would find Cameryn Barrow for the final goal for the Hawks in the third quarter.
BAC finished off the scoring to take the victory 23-4.
