BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Soccer team salvaged a draw on the road against Lees-McRae in league play on Saturday afternoon.

Tren Drexhage scored his ninth goal of the season to move into the top-10 in goals scored in a single season. Ausar Omwenga was credited with the assist.
Charlie Farrar picked up three saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Both teams forced fouls in the early portion of the contest. Jayce Graves sent a shot wide in the 19'.
Charlie Farrar picked up a save in the 28' as the Bobcats thought they had found the opening goal.
Neither side could find the back of the net in the first half.
Second Half:
Chowan went on the attack in the second half as Kai Rymes' shot went wide and Jayce Graves had a shot blocked in the 55'.
LMC went on the counter-attack and found the back of the net in the 58' to lead 1-0.
After a pair of yellow cards, Tren Dexhage would find the equalizer in the 67' off the assist from Ausar Omwenga to knot the score at 1-all.
Neither side had a real chance for the go-ahead goal as the teams played out the draw.
