RICHMOND, VA. – The Chowan Men's and Women's Cross Country team wrapped up the regular season on Friday afternoon at the Virginia Union Panther XC Invite.

THE RESULTS
Andrew Garrison once again had a strong outing as the freshman was just off his personal best pace to post the fourth fastest time in program history with a time of 29:53.21 to finish 10th overall.
Christopher Breeden posted a personal best 8K time with a time of 35:38.05. Enrico Carrasquillo finished with a time of 37:24.98, while Khiyell Jenkins posted a personal best time of 37:31.50. Kani Ellis rounded out the scoring with a time of 37:32.10.
JaCinda Griffin posted a personal best time in the 5k with a time of 28:54.16 to finish 20th overall for the Hawks. Ishcah Browne (40:44.24), Paige Wilhelm (40:49.48), and Patricia Meador (40:52.35) all posted personal best times in the event.

Chowan will shift their focus to championships as the Hawks will compete on November 5 in Spartanburg, S.C. for the Conference Carolinas Cross Country Championships.
