WILSON, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss to Barton in Conference Carolinas action on Tuesday evening on the road.

Chowan recorded three shots in the contest.  Harri Lovett tallied the lone shot on goal.
Charlie Farrar made three saves as Barton posted 21 shots with eight on target.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Barton went on the attack early finding the back of the net in the 3' to open the scoring.  The Bulldogs would strike again in the 10' to lead 2-0.
The Hawks would be shown a red card in the 16' as a last defender tackle caught the Barton player outside of the box.
Harri Lovett posted the lone shot on goal in the 36' as Chowan would trail 2-0 at the break.
Second Half:
Chowan held strong with the man-down deficit as James Randall sent a shot wide left in the 69'.
Barton would take advantage of the man-down in the 84'and 87' to pad their total to lead 4-0.
Ausar Omwenga had a shot blocked in the 87'.
