MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse team dropped a Conference Carolinas contest at home on Saturday against North Greenville.

Charity Brown and Rebekah Lucas scored a goal each in the contest.
Mallory Dunker was forced to make 12 saves, while Ariel Johnson made two saves in relief.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
North Greenville scored five goals in the first four minutes of the contest before the Hawks were able to slow down the Crusaders' attack.
NGU pushed their advantage to 12-0 before Charity Brown scored from distance with 6:03 remaining in the opening half.
The Crusaders led 13-1 at the intermission.
Second Half:
Grace Taylor recorded a shot on goal before Rebekah Lucas scored the opening tally of the second half with an unassisted goal.
Midway through the half, Grace Taylor would narrowly miss the goal hitting the post.
NGU posted seven goals in the second half to take the 20-2 victory.

Chowan returns to the field on April 10 as the Hawks host Belmont Abbey for senior day. Senior day festivities will begin at 3:15pm.
