Chowan dominated the attack with 16 shots with five on target.  The Hawks had 11 corners, compared to none for the Trojans.

HOW IT HAPPENED

First Half:

Aldair Anica Hernandez and Dennis Bates fired off shots early for the Hawks but were turned away.

In the 12', Mount Olive benefited from a poor clearance that bounced off a Hawk defender and landed at the foot of an attacking player allowing the Trojans to lead 1-0.

The Hawks would answer in the 21' as a foul just outside the box at the top wing set the Hawks in motion.  Sam Hall deposited the free kick into the back of the net for the equalizer.

Harrison Ardron had a shot saved in the 24' as the Trojan keeper was forced to make a kick save.

The other shot on goal for the Trojans came in the 25' as Ross Miller made a clean save.

Toby Sims nearly gave the Hawks a 2-1 lead in the 37' as his headed attempt bounced off the left post and was cleared away.

Second Half:

Toby Sims had another attempt denied by the keeper early in the second half.

Following a series of chippy play, Mount Olive had a shot hit the cross bar in the 55'.

Both teams would play a man-down after a second yellow was shown in the 76'.  Harrison Ardron had an attempt in the 81' saved.

Overtime:

Neither team had strong chances in the overtime period as Zouhair Bettache's attempt in the 107' was the only attempt on goal.

The Trojans looked for a counter attack following the attempt, but Devontay Blair broke up the 2v2 attack with a sliding tackle to preserve the draw.
