PINEHURST, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Golf team opened their 2020-21 season at the Browngolf Intercollegiate on Friday afternoon with individual play.

THE ROUND

Annery Abreu leads the field of 45 golfers after the opening round with a six-over 78.  Abreu would card 12 pars in round one including a 38 on the front.

Heidi Jensen posted a score of 118 in the opening round, while Teja Whitehurst carded a 177.
