SUFFOLK, VA. – The Chowan Women's Golf team opened their fall season with an individual outing with Virginia Wesleyan at the Sleepy Hole Golf Course on Thursday afternoon.

ON THE COURSE

Annery Abreu led the Hawks with a career-low round of 75.  Heidi Jensen also produced a career-low round of 96 to finish second for the Hawks.  Teja Whitehurst finished off the scoring with a 139.

Chowan will head to Rockingham, Va. to compete in the Bridgewater Invitational starting on Monday, September 20.
