HOW IT HAPPENED

Game Three: Chowan 0, King 10

Tyler Jones led off the contest by reaching on a dropped pop-up on the right field line. Jones would be thrown out at second to end the inning.

In the third inning, Justin Winslow and Tyler Jones picked up a pair of two-out singles, but were left stranded.

The Tornado tacked on a pair in the bottom half of the inning as a wild pitch and a throwing error allowed the runs to score, 4-0.

Noah Cartwright and Noah Evington picked up singles in the fourth but couldn't get a baserunner to third.

A dropped pop up and a wild pitch aided in the Tornado extending their lead to 7-0.  The Tornado added three more runs in the fifth inning to lead 10-0.

Game Four: Chowan 2, King 4

Tyler Jones posted a single to right center in the nightcap before a double play ball wiped out Jones.  Jeffrey Hiner doubled down the right field line but was left stranded.

King scored in the bottom of the second inning as a delayed steal allowed a run to score from third.  The Tornado added a run in the third inning following an error to lead 2-0.
