Hawks Men's Basketball Seeks Revenge Against SWU

MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The Chowan Men's Basketball team will travel to Southern Wesleyan for the Men's Basketball Quarterfinals on Tuesday.  The men will play in their first Conference Carolinas Tournament contest after missing the tournament last season.

NO SPECTATORS ARE PERMITTED.

  • Last Game: Chowan upset Lees-McRae 97-90 at home.
  • Jaylen Dilliard posted a season-high 26 points against the Bobcats.
  • Jaedon Willis and Jonathan McFall pace the Hawks with 17.3 and 17.1 points per game.  McFall leads the team with 6.3 rebounds.  Jaylen Dilliard tallies 14.2 points per game.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE CAROLINAS

Conference Carolinas has a rich tradition in roots that dates back to its inception on Dec. 6, 1930. The NCAA Division II athletics conference presently has member schools located in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Member institutions for the upcoming 2020-21 athletic year are Barton, Belmont Abbey, Chowan, Converse, Emmanuel, Erskine, King, Lees-McRae, Mount Olive, North Greenville and Southern Wesleyan.

Conference Carolinas will feature 11 members in the 2020-21 academic year before expanding to 13 teams for the 2021-22 academic year with the addition of Francis Marion and UNC Pembroke.
