MEN'S SOCCER UPDATES
Chowan wrapped up the regular season with an 11-3-1 overall record and a 9-1-1 mark in league play to grab the No. 2 seed and a bye into the semifinals.
Toby Sims paces the offense with 11 goals on the season, second in the Conference Carolinas. Harri Lovett has 14 assists, most in the league. James Randall, Erik Ruiz, and London Williams have found the back of the net four times.
Charlie Farrar is second in the Conference Carolinas in GAA with 0.989 this season.
AVOIDING THE TROJAN HORSE
Mount Olive finished up the regular season with an 11-5-0 overall record and 9-2-0 mark in league play to grab the No. 3 seed. The Trojans used a late game-winner in the quarterfinals to escape past North Greenville 2-1.
Alfie Pope, Conference Carolinas leader in goals, has 14 goals on the season with six assists. Ethan Willie has five goals and five assists this season. Axel Engren is 11-3-0 in goal this season, while allowing 1.28 goals per match.
PREVIOUS MEETINGS
Mount Olive took the regular season match, 2-0, in Mount Olive on September 15 handing the Hawks their only league loss this season. The Trojans snapped a four match unbeaten streak against the Hawks as Chowan was 3-0-1 entering that contest.
Chowan faced the Trojans three times in the Spring going 2-0-1 including a pair of shutout wins in Conference Carolinas Pool Play.
