WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NOTES

Chowan enters conference play with a 0-2 overall record to start the season.

Destiny Robinson has posted a pair of double-doubles to start the season while averaging 18.0 points and 14.0 rebounds per game.  Aniah Patterson is averaging 10.0 points per game, while Monique Jones is averaging 9.0 points and 6.5 rebounds a contest.

CAGING THE BOBCATS

Lees-McRae is 0-2 on the season after a pair of losses to start the season in the conference challenge.

Destiny Johnson and MaKayla Smith are averaging 13.0 points per outing for the Bobcats.

MEN'S BASKETBALL HIGHLIGHTS

Chowan dropped their season-opener on the road against Fayetteville State last week.

Jay Estime paces the team with 22.0 points per game.  RJ Wilson and Calvin Ahoume chip in with 8.0 points a game.  Ahoume hauls in 7.0 rebounds per game.

TAMING THE BOBCATS

Lees-McRae is 2-1 on the season after picking up a win against Lenoir-Rhyne over the weekend.

The Bobcats have five players in double-digits led by Justin Nichelson averaging 17.0 points per game.
