MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse team suffered a 21-2 setback in Conference Carolinas action on Wednesday afternoon at home.

Tashana Barnett and Misten White scored one goal apiece.
Tahvae Burton picked up four ground balls. Mallory Dunker recorded 11 saves in goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Mount Olive opened the scoring with a four goal run before Tashana Barnett scored an unassisted tally.
The nationally-ranked Trojans extended their advantage to a running clock leading 11-1 at the end of the half.
Second Half:
The Trojans' attack slowed in the second half scoring seven goals in the first 20 minutes of the half.
Misten White scored on a free position attempt to cut the deficit to 18-2.
Mount Olive finished off the contest with three more goals to take the contest 21-2.
