ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.-The Chowan Men's Cross Country team took home a seventh place finish after competing at the North Carolina Wesleyan Classic on Saturday morning.

ON THE COURSE
The host North Carolina Wesleyan took home the meet win after posting a team score of 33. The Bulldogs of Barton finished in second after recording a 56 team score, while St. Aug's secured third place in the meet.
Baron Freeman from St. Aug's led the field after posting a 26:19.4 on the day.
As a team, the Hawks finished in seventh place with
Rayvon McKoy who fought the last 40 meters over an Averett opponent to cross the line at 34:23.0. McKoy averaged a 6:55.0 minute mile to finish in 33
rd.
Kevin Taylor and
Timofey Tokmakov finished the course in 37:11.5 and 37:31.9 respectively.
Also competing for the Blue and White was
Dragan Omcikus who crossed the line in 44:27.9 while, teammate
Adi Kaliakperov posted a 44:27.9 time finish.
