RALEIGH, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Soccer team rebounded after an opening match loss with a shutout victory against Shaw on the road on Sunday evening.

Harry Ardron led the team with five points with two goals and an assist in the win.
Joury den Boogert, Sam Hall, and Cristian Fuentes posted a goal. Harry Lovett and London Williams tallied an assist.
Ross Miller was not tested much in the contest posting one save in the clean sheet.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Chowan would pepper the cage early with four shots. Trevin Myers, Sam Hall, and Mitchell Levi Lewis.
The Hawks would strike quickly for two goals in a span of 25 seconds. Harry Ardron would find the back of the net before Sam Hall scored to put the Hawks up 2-0.
The Blue and White would add a third goal in the 29' as Harry Ardron found Joury den Boogert found the back of the net in the right corner.
Former Chowan player, Carl Kennedy, registered the only shot on target in the contest but was saved by Ross Miller.
Second Half:
Harry Ardon would net his second goal of the contest off an assist from Harri Lovett to put the Hawks up 4-0.
Chowan would continue to send shots towards cage but was unable to find the back of the net until in the 88' when London Williams found Cristian Fuentes to extend the lead to 5-0.
