GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Chowan Women's Soccer team opened up Conference Carolinas play on the short-end of a 2-0 loss to regionally ranked Limestone on the road on Saturday afternoon.

The Hawks were outshot 25-1 on the afternoon with Sydney Henderson recording the lone shot for the Hawks.
Danielle Acree played 67' in goal for the Hawks and stopped five shots. Lynzie Hulle played out the rest of the match and posted four saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Limestone recorded four shots in the first 10 minutes of action before finding the back of the net in the 12' to lead 1-0.
Chowan's only shot attempt in the 33' by Sydney Henderson was blocked and was given a corner kick.
The Saints added a second goal in the 45' to lead 2-0 heading into the break.
Second Half:
Chowan was held without a shot in the second half. Limestone would not find the back of the net in the half to take the match 2-0.
