GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse team dropped a Conference Carolinas contest against nationally ranked Limestone on Saturday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

Chowan was outgunned by the Saints as Limestone held the Hawks to one total shot.  Jasmine Latney tallied the shot for Chowan.

Leslie Escobar scooped up four ground balls.  Karly Timmons and Misten White collected the two draw controls.

HOW IT HAPPENED

First Half:

Limestone recorded 30 shots in the first half while finding the back of the net 15 times.

Second Half:

The Saints were able to put seven tallies on the board in the second half.

Jasmine Latney recorded the lone shot for the Hawks but was saved.

Chowan returns home for a Conference Carolinas contest on Saturday, March 16 as the Hawks host Belmont Abbey.  Opening draw is at 3pm.
